I'm working on getting a set of DQ rules together that I'm happy to use.
Fundamentally, this is the same 2nd Edition (complete with Bantam edition
updates), plus the original "Arcane Wisdom", plus other stuff I've lifted
from things I've seen on the internet. Plus whatever else takes my fancy
<g>.
I've got a substantially more detailed character generation system already
worked out; I've expanded the skills list somewhat; I'm working on updating
the Colleges right now. My initial goal is to make as few fundamental
changes to 2nd edition rules as possible; incremental improvements rather
than sweeping changes. I've advised my players that the rules may be
somewhat "dynamic" for a while as I work out what I like and what I want to
change.

Well, the above keeps me busy for the moment!

I'm the GM in a new campaign about to start (hopefully this weekend).
Actually it's a restart of my old Alusia campaign from 15+ years ago. None
of the current players were ever involved in that campaign (ran when I lived
in a different city). The new campaign is set about 100 years further along
than the old one.
Characters have already been generated, which gives me the chance to focus
on the stuff they're specifically interested in, rather than just trying to
revise everything before we do anything ....
