I didn't expect anything more at this point. Of course, the ultimate
goal is to sell more WOTC product [by which they mean D&D]. Open Source
as a concept is not anti-profit.

However, the promise of Open Source is that if a game is entered under
the Open Source License becomes freely distributable and modifable. 

"To copyleft a program, first we copyright it; then we add distribution
terms, which are a legal instrument that gives everyone the rights to
use, modify, and redistribute the program's code or any program derived
from it but only if the distribution terms are unchanged. Thus, the
code and the freedoms become legally inseparable."
