Yes.

Any material either covered by the Open Gaming License, or covered under a
different license that meets the conditions described at
www.opengamingfoundation.org/foundation.html as points #1 and #2 should be
and will be supported by the Foundation.

Absolutely.

If it never goes any farther than RPG content, I will be well satisified.
If it becomes a model for games in general, I'll be happier than you can
imagine.  If it gains acceptance at the level of the GNU GPL, I'll fall over
backwards in surprise.

I think that would be a great application.
